More helmet fitting — and starting goggle design

The sides of Rocky’s aviator cap were a bit poofy when I was done, so I obsessively picked out about 5 inches of each (double stitched) seam and adjusted them. The fit is much nicer now.

Goggle Design — patterning

Rocky’s goggles are more of a suggestion than functional — they never move from the top of his cap — but I still want to do a nice job on them.

For lenses, I’m using polycarbonate 90mm Petri dishes — which are actually about 85mm in diameter and 15mm tall (the lids are close to the actual 90mm). I used my Alibre CAD software to create a subtle slightly conical shape and flatterned it into a pattern I can use to cut the leather
